5 SAVEURS - BLEND

Black, white and green pepper are the berries of the pepper vine, Piper Nigrum.
Green and black pepper are berries harvested when unripe. The black colour comes from sun-drying. The mature berry, husked then dried, gives white pepper.
Red peppercorns are not really pepper at all, but the berries of a South American tree (Schinus terebinthifolius)! They can be ground when mixed with pepper (no more than 15%). Coriander is a herbaceous plant with edible leaves, seeds and roots.
