Strawberry salad with a touch of balsamic vinegar and vanilla ice cream

Cut the carefully-washed strawberries into halves or quarters depending on their size.  Place in a salad bowl, add a touch of sugar or honey, and mix gently. Put into the recipient of your choosing, such as a plate, dish or bowl. Add a pretty curl of vanilla ice cream and flavour with a few drops of good-quality balsamic vinegar, finely-chopped fresh mint and finely-ground Cambodian Kampot black pepper.

Recommended grind: Fine (1 or 2)
